Buying from us
Terms of sale.
These terms apply when you buy a ready-made or custom Meadow & Tide piece through this website. Nothing here reduces your statutory consumer rights.
About us
Meadow & Tide is a UK handmade jewellery business. Our contact email is orders@meadow-and-tide.co.uk.
Trading address will be added before online checkout opens.
Products and handmade variation
We describe and photograph each item with reasonable care. Colour can vary between screens, and handmade work and natural materials can have small variations. These are part of the character of the piece and do not change the agreed design or your rights when goods are faulty or not as described.
Custom designs
Please review the jewellery type, size, colours, components and notes shown in your bag before checkout. The interactive model is a design preview rather than an exact manufacturing scan. We make the piece from the saved design instructions and the live components confirmed when payment is completed.
Price and payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling and include UK delivery. The total payable is shown before you leave for Stripe’s secure checkout. Stripe processes the payment; Meadow & Tide does not receive your complete card number or security code.
Accepting an order
Your order is accepted when payment is confirmed and we allocate an order number. If stock has changed or we cannot make the piece, we will contact you and refund any payment we cannot fulfil.
Delivery, cancellation and returns
Our delivery and returns policy forms part of these terms. Custom or clearly personalised goods may not have the ordinary change-of-mind cancellation right, but your rights for faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods remain.
Website accounts
An account is optional and helps you save designs and view connected orders. Keep your password private. You can change it, download your account data or delete the account from the account panel. Required transaction records may remain after account deletion.
Customer reviews and photographs
Only customers with a connected completed purchase may submit a review. Reviews should describe a genuine experience and must not include unlawful, abusive, misleading or unrelated material, personal contact details, or photographs you do not have permission to share. You keep ownership of your words and photographs and give Meadow & Tide permission to display them with the review on this website. Reviews are checked before publication, and you may delete your review from your account. We may hide content that breaks these rules, while preserving genuine positive and negative feedback.
Responsibility
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it. Jewellery contains small parts and should be kept away from young children.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you.
